ANCIENT INDIA

The Ancient Indian History is a matter of pride for any nation. The study of history helps us to re-establish the great moments of earlier times and checks us from repeating the follies committed during the past. A nation is directionless without History.

The present book is prepared keeping in view the syllabii of the Indian Universities in the Graduation level. As it is well known, the Ancient Indian History has become the ground of contention among the scholars because of the lack of sources. However, the readers are not made to involve themselves in these controversies and only the acceptable views are given place in it.

There is a large bank of questions and answers at the end of the book. They are based on the last years annual papers of three main universities of Punjab and Chandigarh.

Approved Maps are given at appropriate places.

The book may be found useful for the students of the Graduation level as well as for those preparing for the competition examinations.

Self Introduction

I am serving as Associate Professor and Head of the PG Department of History in DAV College, Hoshiarpur.

This is my own small space on cyberworld. I will use it for my own subject, for self improvement in my subject and to serve my student community
